If you are between the ages 55-74 and are travelling for 18 days or more, or age 75 or more or have pre-existing conditions you can't be sure your covered unless your policy is underwritten at the time of application. Underwriting at the time of application means completing a medical questionaire so that a premium rate is determined for you based on your pre-existing condition, your age and duration of travel before the policy is placed.
